Summer, sonatas, splendour. All are present at Liminka Music Weeks' Concert series.
Our concerts and happenings cater to many tastes: younger audience can enjoy themselves
in children's concert and musical playschool, while the "more mature" listeners savour
chamber music and symphony.
The unforgettable string of concerts will be opened by the splendid Palola brothers. Nocturnal Concert of the nightless night in Lumijoki church is also worth experiencing.
Conducting course students will hold a concert of their own. The new Brandnew chamber music concert will display - yes, you guessed it - new compositions by our young talents.
Two weeks of fine performances climax with orchestra concerts. This year Symphony orchestra
delight us with Bolero, Maurice Ravel's classic, and Dmitri Shostakovich's; impressive Symphony No 5.
In addition to Liminka, music camp will be seen and heard in Lumijoki and
Tyrnävä.
